The 13” MacBook Air M5 is a glorious machine. Tahoe aside, I’m very pleased with what this achieves for me. So glad I didn’t go for the 15” model. This size is perfect.

Substack promoted Andrew Tate as their #1 "bestseller" last week. Cool company. Great leadership.

So I went ahead and made a browser extension.

Kill Yr Substack intercepts every Substack link (even on custom domains) and redirects it to `archive.is`.

Substack's numbers go down. You still get to read the thing tho.

Update: If you have problems with `archive.is`, Ghost Archive is now available as an alternative redirect as of version 1.2.1.

I’m hooking into the graphQL API used by Wooster’s downtown theater which happens to be shared by a number of other indie theaters that use the same platform.

Not sure how you came across the project, but I wrote about it here: https://jacobtender.net/blog/tracking-local-showtimes/

If I were you, I’d jump straight to their API as mine isn’t exactly “live” in this current iteration. Would love to see more about how you use it!
