Starting a new account, but hoping to find the same great variety of folks when I was [email protected]
Question for scholar out there... If one were to speak "more in the language of contribution to scholarship" how might one say "this approach deserves more attention" and "I hope this might be helpful to future researchers"?

And to all the people out there who give feedback to doctoral students...

Adding a comment on the very last line of a dissertation that is ambiguous or requires anything other than clicking "accept changes" is just not very nice.

Just sayin'...

I believe that I am "one comment to resolve" away from being ready for my EdD defense.

I'm pretty sure now if not the time to quit, but I don't wanna do it!

@TusculumPearson I agree with you Chuck. And thinking out loud…

Do we (big ‘we’ not admins) need to do more to address anti-blackness than block?

If we are fighting ignorance rather than people maybe we need to build ‘holding tanks’ for people to ask their questions without causing direct harm? Maybe in those places, the work of listening and answering and explaining could be done by primarily by white folk (to lighten the load) or BIPOC when willing?

@katebowles @harmonygritz

@bonstewart @mahabali I’ve been thinking about the uncounted stars and counts on replies ~ small but important design changes.
@katebowles It’s funny. Thinking about the same things, except because I am in DisneyWorld it’s in reverse… I sat and watched. Folks dropped garbage here and there. Paid workers walked behind to sweep it up. It’s organized, clean.Safe. Managed. Choices prescribed and adventures limited. A nice place to visit (maybe?), but I sure don’t want to live here.
@jennihayman Thanks Jenni! So great to see you there and here! @clintlalonde
@clintlalonde So crazy! My kid is here for a competition. The only reason I could ever think would bring me here.
@kenbauer @clintlalonde I’m going to want to move soon. I’d be interested in hearing more about any plans.
@clintlalonde Hi Clint! Glad to (not) see you there!
