@kenbauer I ran a test instance a few years ago with the OpenETC just to dip my toes into administering an instance. It also gave me a better grasp of federation and i was able to build a bot on it - all fun side projects. But I think instead of going from scratch and taking on hosting my own I am looking at a dedicated Mastodon hosting service like https://masto.host/
