I just got a bill for $3,001.36, which is for one visit to the hospital. That amount is what I have to pay *after* insurance.

Vote the Tories out and protect your #NHS. The system in the US is the system they want for you. They want a profit-making health service because they'd own it and you'd be making them richer every time you go to the doctor.

And people in Scotland: in the long term Labour are not going to save the NHS. Vote #SNP. Make Scotland independent!

Getting reports in that people are getting turned away from polling stations with guide dog IDs.

Not just voter suppression of the young and urban, but the disabled too. #ObviousReally

Also the press aren't going to want to talk about this because it goes against the narrative, but the people most disproportionately being turned away from polling stations are white working class.

@13sarahmurphy Absolutely spot on Sarah, when the Tories rely so heavily on the Goebbels play book, it's hardly a surprise when comparisons with 1930s Germany are made.
I knew where things were heading once May started her "Will of the People" mantra.
The full version is - the will of the people is the will of the state, and the will of the state is the will of the people. Which I find very sinister.

Just voted & discovered that you can make an official complaint about requirement for photo ID at the vote - election officers will take down your complaint, name & address & pass it to the elections teams... so please folks - have your say!

Please, if you do this, be kind to election staff- they're doing a thankless task & are likely to get a lot of trouble today. If you have to wait when it's busy, wait kindly.

The election folks are not those at fault!!
