Pay is crud. To help make up for that, we provide not only the whole course but meaningful mentorship in being a PUI faculty member.

"Better Inference in Neuroscience: Test Less, Estimate More" is my new paper out in the JNeuro making the case to:

a) use hypothesis testing better, to actually test the *researcher's* hypothesis, and

b) to use estimation for the many, many situations in which a researcher is not yet ready to conduct a strong hypothesis test

I’m a cognitive neuroscientist, teaching neuro/psych courses, and getting undergrads involved in research. I’m also a huge baseball fan (Baltimore Orioles). What I liked about Twitter was being able to connect with both the science/education folks and the baseball side of things. Hoping that’s possible here too!

If anyone had any resources they use for helping people make a Code of Conduct or group working agreement, and don’t mind sharing, I would be really interested in seeing what others do. Particularly if aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate project groups where people might not have much prior interaction with each other or experience working in groups.
