This is a good reminder to make a resolution: take a CPR class and get certified. The Red Cross and AHA offer classes. It will take a few hours but it could result in giving someone the rest of their life.
I used to be an EMT and a RC CPR instructor. I assure you, it is not overly difficult to learn but a valuable skill.

Santos is now the target of local, state, national, and international law enforcement.
George Santos should RESIGN before disgracing himself any further.
In the 1960s, the sugar industry funded its own research on the effects of sugar on health.
The results didn't look good - for them. Studies revealed a high-sugar diet may increase risks associated with heart attacks, strokes & certain cancers.
But... rather than share emerging findings, the study was curiously halted & the industry successfully shifted blame onto fats.
It took decades to widely link sugary diets to disease. It didn't have to. https://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2017/11/21/565766988/what-the-industry-knew-about-sugars-health-effects-but-didnt-tell-us #food #science
If someone you're with is wearing a mask, don't ask if they want you to wear one, too. Just put one on.
Masks have become contentious and it's really uncomfortable to be on the side of asking someone to mask. Don't put someone in the position of feeling like they have to give you their personal health history to rationalize their request. Just put a fucking mask on.
Live Nation and Ticketmaster were allowed to merge in 2010. The result?
They now control 70% of the primary ticketing and live event venues market.
They exploit all of us — and we simply have to take it.
Big mergers are terrible for everyone but super-rich CEOs.
