If you’re still using Proton mail:

The company is sponsoring the videos of French far-right / fascist YouTuber Vincent Lapierre.

If encryption is part of your vision for a better society, find a better service provider.

UPDATE 2026-06-08: Response from Proton. This comes after mods apparently deleted lots of critical posts in r/ProtonMail.

@drahardja I totally see the nuance you are adding here regarding the room for a moral framework, and 100pc agree with it. Also in agreement with the copyright part.💯
@drahardja @Mabande So is it great that a side effect of that is that someone could do crappy stuff with some PD things? Certainly not. But the alternative is worse, so... My beef here is really more about the Trustee hammering the "They should have asked us, it's AA human right! (even if he is dead 🤔 )" instead of the whole borderline scam of selling a prompted PD image for 10k 😩. And on that we agree I think: it's legal, but not moral
@drahardja @Mabande Thanks for the link, interesting read and good points in your post.
Perhaps we will not agree on that, but the way i see it, the law is there to organize and balance the rights of everyone. It's not created in a vacum of morality and usually codify what is considered 'moral' at one point. PD domain is there because some people at one point taught it was not 'moral' that some random vulture heir could decide who can do what with some art done 100 years ago.
@drahardja @ramsey I don't know, my reading can be biased, but they could have written:
"Someone is selling a print of AA works for a ridiculous some of money just because they used a single AI prompt to colorize it, and a gallery was moraly bankrupt enough to display it as 'art'. AA would have found those 'prompt artists' ridiculous. We don't endorse that and we think that it's borderline unethical. Don't buy that crap".
I would have supported that 100pc
