@lolennui You lost something. It’s ok that it hurts. It’s not dramatic or illogical- it’s human. I’ve fought my way through depression a couple times in my life and I can tell you I never got any better downplaying or dismissing what I was feeling. Be well. There are 8,531 people here on mastodon who like hearing from you.
@XanIndigo @emilygorcenski it continues to blow my mind how poorly businesses understand productivity among knowledge workers. We’re stuck in the ‘production line’ mentality - I watch otherwise smart people continuously confuse activity with progress. I think it’s mostly because measuring progress is so much harder: you have to actually think and be able handle a lot of ambiguity. And to quite the father of management theory: “Thinking is hard work. Which is why most managers don’t do it.”

@TamarYellin @tchambers @mastodonusercount @mastodonmigration scrolling back through the bots post history, though, the rate of signups seems to be increasing. It was closer to 600 just a week or so ago. Fingers crossed this is real momentum
@KFuentesGeorge The audacity of demanding public funds to discriminate against the members of the public who paid for those funds is just unreal. Thanks for sharing - I’ll be forwarding to my state reps along with some strong words. This is not my #vermont

@AKawaiiDragon @stevestreza if you’re using a reputable pw manager and using it well, this shouldn’t be a major concern. And by ‘well’ I mean autogenerating long unique random strings (16+ characters) for everything. Even if it gets hacked, it will take eons to reverse engineer your passwords.
