Anyone else feel like there is no sense of community where they live? Like I run this local instagram account for 'Vegan eats' around my area, I've reached out so many times over there trying to get a Vegan meet up sorted so we can get some sort of movement going.

Nope. Not one person interested. This is despite the fact of me having over 350 local 'followers'.

This shit is so hard to get going when you're doing stuff on your own.

Nothing pisses me off more than people that make excuses for not being Vegan, I would straight up prefer it if someone point blank said "look, I love the taste of meat. Nothing you say to me or show to me will change my mind".

The amount of times I've gone out to do outreach and they just use baseless excuses like "oh my partner isn't Vegan so I couldn't!" or "it's just too expensive".

Stop lying and be frank, as activists we want people to change but if you're just pussy footing about with excuses you're wasting our time.
