@iamcitrongrau the problem was never that it was Chinese, to its users. Tiktok wasn't even Chinese! Their CEO was Singaporean & their servers were hosted by IBM in Texas. But now people know about the reality of China & the US.

@davidallengreen I wonder if you'd heard about the arrest of Sarah Wilkinson, for "expressing opinions in agreement with a proscribed organisation". I'm wondering how much of an ass this law makes of the British establishment: is it possible for say a Hamas leader to say "It feels nice to sit in the sun" and then for someone so say the same and be arrested? If he says "Genocide is bad, actually" and someone agrees, they're now a terrorist?

@stavvers finally got the heat pump in July, it's shaping up well. Got the house above 18 degrees, so far coat is about half the old gas system.
