Twitter’s New Logo: The Geometry and Evolution of Our Favorite Bird

Recently, Twitter unveiled its brand new logo. It’s certainly not the first time this has happened, but the company seems insistent that this is going to be the last change we see for a while. Join us as we take a look at the new logo, discuss why it’s better or worse and analy...

"He doesn't "say" he was elected. He was elected. Prior to his election the mayors just appointed their successors and never ran elections. He found this out, got an election ran, won, and now the city council refuses to swear him in."

When you "buy" a book on Kindle, you own only the right to read it as long as you have an Amazon account. When your public library lends you an ebook, it isn't lending something it owns in the first place, but is actually sub-leasing.

This morning we awoke to this wondrous surprise!

New application essay prompt cites affirmative action ruling

Sarah Lawrence College will ask applicants about the Supreme Court’s affirmative action ban, quoting directly from the decision. Is it a savvy workaround or a brash rejoinder?

I keep hearing conservatives say they want to “own the libs.”

Lib ownership may seem attractive, but once you own a lib, you have to care for it. Libs need constant feeding and watering, and must be taken for walks twice a day. A lib can live seventy years or more; owning one is a lifetime commitment.

I'm worried that many conservatives just aren't up to the responsibility.

Remember: “A lib is for life, not just for Christmas.” Think hard before getting one for YOUR young conservative.
