was told once by a very wise person to look at who is considered lowest of the low in a culture. then see how they are treated. in USA that would be #transgender Black women.

@blogdiva I read that last year. Deeply unsettling, but it helped me to write a scene in my script involving the Nazis and take serious moral responsibility. Martin Amis was likewise driven to write ZONE OF INTEREST because of this book. It is an absolutely must read. Especially now. We need to remind ourselves that the most depraved elements will continue to ratchet things up if we don't stop them.
