My name is Sarah Gill, and I am a professional service dog trainer and handler. I entered the world of professional service dog training after being in a car accident. I was confined to a wheelchair for almost two years, trying to maneuver in a house that wasn’t designed for it. I was never expected to walk again.
My diagnoses include POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), MCAS (Mass Cell Activation Syndrome), PTSD, TBI, CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), and Neuropathy.

Guide dogs for the blind are pretty much the only type of service dog I don't train, but I always love seeing well-trained service dogs helping people. It's life-changing no matter what the disability is because it provides independence.

I am so thankful to have this view out my front door. I still suffer from cabin fever post-surgery, so Storm and I wheeled down to the mailbox.
That’s the farthest we’ve gone for a while, and we will try to make this a habit. My leg still hurts like hell, but the doctor said that my leg looked good. Progress!!
