I love tea, and cats, and potatoes.
I love when a wikipedia page sounds like it was written by my cat
@Sebasu If you fly westwards at a high enough latitude you can get two sunsets 😆
What is it with Powderfinger’s ‘Sunset’s playing so much today? I’ve heard it twice now in two different places.

I love it!

Also I wore a skirt in public today, and got a lot of compliments on it. And I felt beautiful, which is rare for me.

Girls, just live your best lives. Don’t be afraid to wear the dress. Or the skirt. Or the short shorts. It’s YOUR life, no one else’s.

The time’s gonna pass. Believe me, it’s not worth the regret. My egg cracked four and a half years ago and it took me three years to start transition and until six months ago to work up the courage to come out. I wish I could have even those three and a half years back.

Don’t wait. Live for today. It’s all you’re guaranteed.

My grandma has been walking around my favorite Berlin streets with me for 2 days and without me saying anything she picked up on how few cars there are, vs the huge number of bikes & pedestrians. She legit can't stop talking about it and I think I might have accidentally created a radical anti-car activist 😂
In case you missed it, the ACLU has a petition for payment processors like Mastercard and Visa to stop discriminating against sex workers and content producers. Read it, sign it, please!
https://action.aclu.org/petition/mastercard-sex-work-work-end-your-unjust-policy
Mastercard: Sex Work is Work. End Your Unjust Policy.

Mastercard's new policy unfairly targets the adult content industry, making sex workers more vulnerable, especially Black trans women. It must be stopped.

In FUWAMOCO's cover of the Opening Theme of ToHeart, Feeling Heart, Mococo is recreating one of Multi's mopping scenes from the anime in episode 10.

Hoopla is pretty great and between two council’s libraries I have 20 loans a month which means I can borrow without much worry. I could for sure read 10 books a month (the limit the libraries I’m part of set), but 20 books a month is a stretch...

Some of the ones I borrow are what I would have used Kindle Unlimited for in the past; if I wasn’t sure if I would like the book. Then if I really love the book I end up buying it on Kobo or Smashwords.

Amazon’s exclusivity agreements however - that is the devil. There are books stuck in Kindle Unlimited limbo that are available on Amazon only. I can’t borrow it, I can’t buy it elsewhere. I really like the authors’ works and I know it’s difficult for many of them to give up the larger cut of revenue (which makes me value more those authors who chose not to go with exclusivity). I’m annoyed that Amazon can force them to sign exclusivity agreements in the first place by threatening to dramatically reduce their cut.

It’s so frustrating because I would love to support those authors many of whom are indie, but I simply do not want to give Amazon more money. Even more so now they don’t even let you download the files of the book you’ve “bought”. (“Download and Transfer” option they got rid of earlier this year.)

Bleh. No-win situation.

@paul Sometimes I step on a lego but then I think "at least I'm not using Teams right now."
