Both of these buildings were on Stalinallee, a development intended to showcase Soviet style and new construction techniques to the world. The Kino International was recently renovated.

Inside the 15th century gothic “Powder Tower” in Prague. At the base of this tower is a gate that once separated the old and new sections of Prague. It was the staring point of the coronation procession for Bohemian kings that concluded a few miles away up on the hill at Prague Castle.
