I’m exited to share “wetlands” a new album of downtempo and ambient music. It’s on Bandcamp!

Been noodling with this project for weeks. After taking a break from it to focus on learning the Make Noise NUSS modules, I’m testing some of the patch ideas I learned to sprinkle it onto this existing project. Loving the interaction between Zadar and MultiWave and Polimaths.

I noticed a very familiar word in this book I’m reading. The book, “Proto:
How One Ancient Language Went Global” is about the origin of the Proto-Indo-European language, who spoke the ancestral language, and how it spread so widely. I imagine you already know possible meanings of the word, but I thought it might interest you. https://www.bloomsbury.com/us/proto-9781639732586/
A bit of a quiet ambient track that started last weekend as a drone experiment on the modular and then expanded out to some other synths and processors. Still a work in progress…
And a few more…No Kings, Berkeley, CA
A few photos from the No Kings protest in Berkeley.
Looking up the trail at Mossman Gorge in Daintree National Park in far North Queensland, Australia. Such a beautiful place to hike.

Been going through some urban exploration photos from 2013. I found this and realized I never posted any from this room because I was disappointed with how they turned out. I felt as if my compositions were all off, and didn’t do justice to the amazing find in the attic of this asylum in TN. I don’t love this one, but it’s the best of them.
This little one was flitting around the bushes near the trail we were hiking in Daintree rainforest. It was one of those rare cases when I had the right lens on my camera at the right time. This is an Australian Rufous Fantail. May 2025
