The last Hydrangea,
Well, not the last, by any stretch. But we do not care well for the Hydrangea we inherited; it has nettles and brambles growing through it. It's a challenge to keep a wild garden while still protecting certain plants. We did build a little border to protect it, but it needs massively cutting back from the sprawling motley mess it has become.

The green came out looking far more spooky than intended, but I like the effect!

Happy new week, hope you all had a marvellous weekend.
I started planting out my assortment of wild seeds, ornamental grasses and assorted poppies hoping to get a decent autumn/winter garden this year (planted everything far too late last year).
Here's another minimal shot of some berries I grabbed last year, which have survived in the studio surprisingly well!
Is that spring I can see coming over the horizon? I seriously hope so, I'm very bored of being cold all the time.
