Today marks the beginning of our Winter hockey season. Our hockey club has approximately 70 members, all over the age of 55. Our oldest skater this year is 74, and can still skate circles around most of us.

We play twice a week for 2 hours, fairly informally, no contact, no slapshots (officially). Since we have a wide range of skills - some guys played minor pro, back in the day, some of us played only the last few years - we try to split teams so that skill levels get equalled.
