Oh oops hi there, oh wow, it’s been a minute, huh? My bad. I had to disappear to go do some stuff—but I did it! And now I’m doing other stuff 😅 I did props for rocky horror and made this head! Then I played my first band show in years!
I can't believe we're still having to say this in 2025, but would people *please* scroll back to the top of a website when they're finished reading, so it's ready for the next person. We've even got buttons at the bottom to do it all in one go, it's not 1994 any more.
I finally finished latch hooking this corner! Only three more to go. I am waiting until it’s all latch hooked before trimming, that way I don’t accidentally trim something too short. I also kind of really love how fluffy it is right now, and so does the baby! #rugmaking#yarn#handmaderug#babyroom#homedecor
Oh! So I cut out the stitches underneath the wool and that helped it lay a little flatter. I’ll go in later and felt it together I think. For now, here’s my rug progress! I also bought a Pom Pom maker which sped up that process by a LOT. #fiberarts#rugmaking#yarn I’m wanting more color and textures so my next step is to made some multi-colored Pom Poms and add in diff types of yarn 🤗
Well my rug in progress isn’t laying flat bc I crocheted the wool too tightly and now I’m having to pull up a whole bunch and start over on parts. But I’d rather fix it now than do more work and be devastated later. It’s a delete your art kinda day—sigh #rugmaking#fiberarts
Maybe someone can help me with this: I want to make a rug for my baby’s room. I accidentally cinched too much over in this area for the “road.” I can’t really undo the crochet bc it’s a tangly wool. Can I just cut under it and use a felting needle to make it flat? #yarn#fiberarts#rugmaking
