Hi, everyone! I wanted to say thank you for all of the helpful comments and suggestions for my friend's daughter and her research. You were brilliant! I am most grateful.

FYI, I also recalled that the scholarly journal #Mythlore is now open source and fully searchable, and it is a gold mine! I am sharing the link here in case it is useful to anyone else:

Again, many thanks!

As a young amateur painter and future art school dropout, I frequently found myself haunted by the faces of two artists, that famously odd couple from my favorite art history novelization—and Kirk Douglas role and Iggy Pop song—Lust for Life.

I'm pleased to report that I have increased the limit when composing a post here on https://genealysis.social from 500 to 3000 characters.

500 is sometimes just not enough.

The limit causes no problems with other mastodon servers or any other fediverse servers. The protocols behind the scenes can handle large limits. It is just Mastodon that chooses to restrict writing posts to 500 -- no idea why!

The change is now live, but it may take a little while to show on your web front end or phone apps, due to caching.

#genealogy often needs more words 🙂
