Since its the 55th aniversary of the 555, I thought I'd try out an idea I had a while back. In theory this should generate a perfect triangle wave. By charging and discharging the capacitor with constant current, the voltage across it should be linear with respect to time and since it remains within the middle 1/3 of the supply voltage that should avoid the full and empty conditions.
(IN THEORY - I have no idea if this is going to work - stay tuned)

Veroboard to the rescue. The current assignment for the course I'm doing insists on a hand drawn graph for one of the questions and not a single fucking shop here sells graph paper (and online delivery isnt guaranteed before the deadline).
At least I've got an evenly spaced grid that I can plot my fucking data points on.
