I’m watching Kindred.
I am watching an Octavia Butler adaption.
The lack of adaptions of her literature is all the confirmation I need that Hollywood is still redundant, racist, sexist, conformist, and tasteless.
Anyway, read #Kindred and then watch it on Hulu.
I am really struggling, really struggling with black Friday sales.
Like all of these layoffs and a forced recession to bring salaries and consumer demand back on earth,
y’all ain't bringing cost to living down earth,
y’all ain't bringing the cost of housing & fuel down to earth,
y’all ain't bringing the cost of food down to earth, this is literally the #ParableOfTheSower in the making.
The expectation of Perpetual QoQ growth is unrealisticand did detrimental to human kind.
Elon’s utter disregard for Twitter’s employees, culture, and community is so disgusting and disturbing.
This man wants to lead us into space? Can you imagine the sci-fi novel dystopian society a human with his hubris would bring upon Earth 2.0 society?
Can folks stop embuing Elon’s decisions with reverence and awe because he’s rich and has a (paid-for) founder title?
It's disheartening and frightening.
Here's a neat #Mastodon trick I just discovered:
You can access an RSS feed of any user's posts simply by adding .rss onto the end of their profile URL — so, for instance:
You can then use that link to follow all of that person's posts in Feedly, Feedbin, or any other RSS reading service.
Heck, you can even do it directly in #Chrome, if you want!
