Today’s gym tunes. I hadn’t heard of them until Spotify said β€œwe see you like garbage music. Maybe you’ll like this too!”

Breakdown of Sanity - The Hunt (Official Music Video)

YouTube

Gonna start a food series.

ADHD Friendly - Depression Meals

Criteria:
- Shelf stable: canned, tinned, glass (If I buy fresh, things tend to go bad as I forget about them. This also lets me buy in bulk and get savings.)
- Not frozen (I really dont like frozen things... don't know why...)
- At least one starch, protein, and veggie
- VERY QUICK to make. Like a minute... tops... Can eat it right out of the can if I want.
- Individually proportioned. If there are any leftovers, they have to be eaten the next day or I will forget about them and they'll go bad.

To start us off, I've made:

Tamales with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans
- Served with a light sauce, shredded cheese, and guacamole.

Instructions:
1 minute to microwave rice. Used that time to open the tamales and beans and lay out on plate. Heated those both for 40 seconds in the microwave. Drizzled sauce from can over tamales, rice, and beans. Sprinkled shredded cheese on beans and dollop of guacamole on the side.

(Note: I used half a can of tamales and half a can of beans. I'll need to eat those tomorrow, maybe with eggs and call it breakfast, or it'll go bad. I used two guacamole pods, but only one rice cup. The guacamole is stored in the fridge but because they're single serving they last a while.)

The article details a significant SQL injection vulnerability in Fortinet's FortiClient EMS, identified as CVE-2023–48788, now updated with valuable insight from @hal8999 and more details. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute code with SYSTEM on privileges without user interaction, but only if they are on the LAN. Fortinet's guidance includes reviewing systems for prior exploits, maintaining cyber hygiene, and following hardening recommendations. The issue underscores the challenge in cloud environments where customers lack control over backend security, highlighting the importance of vendor patching and proactive security measures. https://infosechitch.medium.com/zero-day-siege-the-fortinet-flaw-exposing-the-underbelly-of-corporate-defenses-e435b60792f2

So no lie... being part of an internal red team and seeing the things that I could hack into last month being fixed this month and not being able to hack into it next month in the same way is awesome.

But you know what's even more awesome?!?! Having the Blue Team contact you on a intrusion alert, verifying that it was not you, and then running off to track down and stop the intruder...

...and realizing that the alert was developed because of your efforts demonstrating what those attacks look like during Purple Teams.

I never had this level of satisfaction and fulfillment during my 3rd Party PenTest consultant days.
