While Keir Starmer was busy outlining his pro-growth agenda in Manchester, down the road, there was a gathering of activists, academics and social entrepreneurs cooking up a post-growth vision for food and real prosperity.

I was privileged to be in the company of some great people today with inspiring presentations and even a chance to play with modelling clay and chalk!
