Ten LSM6DSV cheesecake SlimeVR trackers assembled! Tomorrow is firmware and software time--hopefully all goes well.
Key thing I've learned so far: never select economy assembly from JLCPCB. Of 5 charging boards, I've got 2 that are good.

When visiting my in-laws during holidays, there's typically some sort of project going on that people get roped into.
Today's project: Miata convertible top replacement
Did someone seriously jump the parking stop and crash into this huge steel solar canopy support pole at the Kettleman City #Tesla #Supercharger ? 🤦♂️
This, and other things I've seen over the years, makes me wonder what Tesla spends annually to repair damage to their charging sites.
Have you ever seen a printed #Tesla #Model3 manual before?
My in-laws took delivery of a Model 3 and, since they're not big on electronic manuals, they printed (double sided, full color) and spiral bound the whole ~300 page manual. It's over 2cm thick.
Honestly, it's pretty cool and makes me miss the era of printed manuals for everything... but, printed manuals are wasteful when only a few actually want/need them and searchable PDFs are pretty handy.
There's a lot of new #EV #charging stations going in at Harris Ranch and, from the looks of it, solar canopies are coming soon!
They're #Tesla v3 #Superchargers, at least that's my guess based on the liquid cooled cables & the charge rates. Also nice to see my 5 year old Model 3 still crossing 250kW at 27% and 130kW at 58%. DC fast charging my old (2015) Model S got pretty slow by year 5.
