No, Google hasn't invented anything. Neither has Microsoft, Sony or Samsung. Nor have the United States, Germany, Israel or Japan.

None of them invented anything, created anything, developed anything or contributed anything of value to the world. People have done all of these things, and these people all have names.

Next time you read a headline such as "Finland invents new grass cutting technique", find out who actually did the inventing, because it sure wasn't Finland.
