Last night I watched #ThePrinceOfEgypt with my 4-year-old as part of #Passover I think she really got something out of the #Seder this year because she said “Why is he (Pharoh) being so mean to us?”
Us… not him or them… Is! I’m kinda proud of her!

@PCG This reminds me of when my son was in elementary school and was starting to learn the story of Hanukkah. A few months later we were about to walk into a Greek cultural festival at a a local Orthodox church, when he suddenly looked at us in horror and said "we can't go in there. We're Jews! What if they find out?!"

We of course had a lot of good conversation about this, but I was mostly glad to know that he was paying attention at Hanukkah!
