@mindpersephone many years ago, I was about half-way to being the punching bag for a BDSM burlesque performance that was essentially this scene. Sadly we never managed to make the logistics work; I'd been looking forward to those bruises.
Funeral director by day, shibari instructor by night. Worlds collided a few years ago when a customer asked if her deceased (sub) husband could be buried in bondage. Boyo sleeps eternal in rope, gag, and chastity cage. She's got the key and wore it at the funeral.
@neil I think this is a good use case for age: https://github.com/FiloSottile/age
GitHub - FiloSottile/age: A simple, modern and secure encryption tool (and Go library) with small explicit keys, no config options, and UNIX-style composability.

@amy my union branch moved off Signal because some people found it too difficult to use. My union branch is specifically a tech branch. If we had to shift back to WhatsApp, I can't blame anyone else for sticking with the big platforms.
@mindpersephone I have a vague friend who will go to the local pub in outfits that'd be appropriate for some of the more restrictive fetish clubs, but are still "decent". She enjoys the attention and doesn't get to wear them much otherwise...
@dave I firmly believe bankruptcy shouldn't be punitive, for more-or-less exactly this reason. But also I'm kinda surprised you were able to take on debt as a small Ltd without providing a personal guarantee...
@GoingDownWithSundial @girlonthenet honestly a key part of my current gender questioning revolves around "tits are great, maybe I could have some of my own"
@amy turned up for the smut, stayed for the possibility of replacing Jellyfin with something better!
@mindpersephone suddenly baffled I've never seen earrings or similar for a bunch of the queer/punk tech community...
@amy more likely to look if git, very likely to look regardless.
