@martinkubler
for food:
"Falafel in berlin.de" at U Görlitzer Bahnhof (Falafel plate say to make it vegan)
"Ahn Dao" at U Eberswalder Straße
"The Butterfly Lovers" at Brunnenstraße

for nice city impressions:
*sightseeing day*
start at Zoologischer Garten, take the bus 100 all the way to Alexanderplatz (follows one of the tour busses without the price), you can walk back from there past "Museum's Insel" down "Unter den Linden" and turn left after "Brandburger Tor" and pass through the "Holocaust memorial" (please be mindful here, it's a place of memory. even if some treat it like a fun insta location). at Potsdamer Platz have food at "Saravanaa Bhavan Berlin" (south Indian cuisine, vegetarian with many vegan options), then get some donuts at "Brammibal's Donuts" (you probably have that on your list already ;) )and enjoy the view from "Panoramapunkt Berlin" (way cheaper than "Fernsehturm" and still great).
Alternatively you can get of the Bus at "Bundestag", Walk across the "Tiergarten" to "Potsdamer Platz" an take that walk backwards.

*Berlin Life day on bike*
Start at Ostkreuz with bikes(!) don't attempt to walk this. Alternatively use public transport. Cycle around "Stralauer Island" and then along the water past the "Molecule Men" all the way to "Oberbaumbrücke". Lock your bikes and walk up and down "East Side Gallery" (old Wall with graffiti). When you are back at your bikes, cycle across the river and follow the train tracks up to Görlitzer Bahnhof. Have Falafel (say you would like it vegan). Pick up a bottled drink at one of the "Späti" shops (corner shop) even alcohol is allowed. Continue along the tracks to "Prinzen Straße". Turn left and continue until you pass over another river "Landwehrkanal". Turn left, right behind the bridge, sit in the park and enjoy your drink. There put "Vux" in your phone and cycle there for tasty vegan cakes. Afterwards, again with Navigation, cycle to "U Leinestraße" and from there to "Tempelhofer Feld"(to find it: you will likely see a lot of people walk and cycle down a parc-like path opposite the corner of "Thomas Straße"). When you get onto the old airport field turn right and walk to the community garden. Walk around in it and enjoy what people build because they felt like it. Afterwards cycle across the air field. It's a very freeing feeling :)

If you want to do something in the evening, i recommend going to "S+U Warschauer Straße" and across the "RAW" area.
You can start by having either (1)vegan sushi from "Secret Garden" (2) Döner or other fast food from "Wat is mit vegan?" or (3) are bit further in the area "Emma Pea". Afterwards it's just a nice place to experience, similar to the "Tempelhofer Feld".

(Sorry I completely overdid it)

@martinkubler @promo

Let me know if you are interested in activities or good vegan food spots

@Jhaddix Am I the only one not seeing the thread? I think cross-posting might have not worked here
@scottslowe Small work around might be docker installation with user-data or using one of the paas solutions
@tiosolid That's definitely a harder thing. Sorry to hear. I know the website https://breitbandmessung.de/ is official and can be used to prove problems with the speed and enforce changes but it's going to be a fight. So if you are willing to pay a company, it should be lawyer.
Machen Sie jetzt Ihre Breitbandmessung!

Testen Sie schnell und einfach die Geschwindigkeit Ihres Internetzugangs.

@tiosolid If you have a standard case, go with the typical German-three-line letter:
"""
FROM:you
TO: them

BETREFF: Kündigung <your account number>

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
hiermit kündige ich den oben genannten Vertrag fristgerecht zum frühestmöglichen Zeitpunkt.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
you
"""
Send it as "Einschreiben", to have a proof you send it and advise your bank to stop paying the month after.

HOWEVER, it sounds like you are in dispute about the contract, so maybe a lawyer? :/

you are looking for "IAM Roles for Service Accounts"

Attached: 4 images 🗓️ December 10th #AdventOfCloudSecurity Pods running in an EKS cluster often need an identity in AWS, for instance to write to an S3 bucket or read from a DynamoDB table. The best (and easiest) way to achieve this securely is to use "IAM Roles for Service Accounts" (IRSA). Every EKS cluster comes with a backing OIDC provider. You can set a trust policy on an IAM role to delegate it to the EKS cluster. Then: 1. Create a K8s service account, and annotate it with `eks.amazonaws.com/role-arn: <your-role-arn> 2. Run your pod under this service account. An OIDC token is automatically mounted in the pod 3. You can use `sts:AssumeRoleWithWebIdentity` to exchange this token for temporary AWS credentials for the role! Bonus: this is totally transparent if you use the AWS CLI or an AWS SDK. @rypeck I think that's only possible for security issues. I remember the accidental "Support can read S3 objects"-incidnet. maybe @scottpiper has some experience

@plaindocs

Pure oven is a just a plug. However, combo is a so called "5-Phases" wire. Like when you install a lamp you can see 3 wires but this one has 5. By law it must be installed by an electrician :/ In reality, it's joining the different colors together.

If you enjoy someone's post on #Mastodon go ahead and click the star. If someone tells you that's meaningless because there's no #algorithm, ignore them. Sure, boost the post too if you want others to also see the post, but don't think telling someone you like what they posted is somehow unimportant. In real life I don't tell someone, "good job," or "well said," or "I love that," for the sake of some algorithm, I do it because I'm human and they are too. It's fundamental to being truly social.
