The open-source project with ENTSO-E, Open-TYNDP, is now in v0.2 and under active development. The new enhancements include: Offshore Infrastructure Integration, PECD v3.1 Capacity Factors (offshore wind farms), Hydrogen Import Modeling, and Electricity Demand Integration.

We joined the Latin America Energy Planning Summit for the launch of GCEP—a new global effort for transparent, evidence-based clean energy planning. Key takeaways were a wish for transparency, collaboration, and cost-efficient solutions.
Open models can address these issues and they have a growing interest across South America. Excited to see momentum building!
