Every spring and summer I enjoy the beautiful bright red poppies blooming everywhere in the garden and fields. They look so fragile but are very robust and always find a little place where to grow and delight our hearts with their beauty. Here is an abstract watercolor painting of these beauties.

I figured out how to rough up this old aluminum piece, enough to hold adhesive and paper. Today: what about paint? Behold! A transparent layer of brown across the bottom! Will it last? How will I seal it?? Isn't art experimentation fun? :)
