@yochaigal Since you incorporated Jewish folklore into your #TTRPG writings, do you have advice on how to incorporate religious or cultural themes and influences into writing while still reaching a general audience?
I found out that I can subscribe to Mastodon accounts via RSS (https://barrd.dev/article/follow-a-users-public-posts-on-mastodon-using-rss/).
Now, I've subscribed to an account in Briar messenger's RSS feeder and in Offpunk browser.

I stumbled across this undocumented feature of Mastodon via a post from Fedi.Tips that will allow you to follow a Mastodon Users Public Posts.

@nantucketlit Yes, I would read a book that way. RSS is my preferred method for following a project for updates.

https://draculadaily.com/ had a similar idea, only as a newsletter.

I listened to the Lamplighter Theatre production of Sir Knight of the Splendid Way.
The story kept me wondering which rest houses would actually provide peace for the knight and which were traps. The Black Knight took many disguises, some of which were more subtle than others.
I was especially moved by the scene with the Keeper of the Well, a knight who stuck to his post for decades without recognition and never knew the good his faithfulness did for others.

Well, here's my review for #Overscan, long overdue. A fantastic collection of short stories from many authors.

A book by the Fediverse, for the Fediverse that I highly recommend to anyone here. This is day 15 of #100DaysToOffload

@nantucketlit @writeas might be what you're looking for.

Today, I mailed out the first postcards for #FirstClassFiction. Over the course of a year, I'll be sending out 25 postcards, each with a unique story or poem. Each postcard is individually numbered, and has a serialized sticker.

Some writers for these stories/poems will include @atgonzalez, @amin, @asakiyume, and @superball. The first postcard has a poem by @NylaWoethief

I created a Medic Class as an add-on for #MeteorRPG by @AwkwardTurtle

The Medic class includes new starting equipment, skills, and procedures for providing emergency medical care to characters.

I need to add more download formats and content over time.

Are there any existing short stories or novels related to #Cairn or adjacent #TTRPG systems?
I am working on a story that is intended to have a similar feel to the Roots in Vald to help establish a sense of place for Cairn. It's supposed to be in a country next to Vald.
What would you look for in a story companion for Cairn?
I am adding stat blocks for NPCs in an appendix.

@pixx @amin @nantucketlit I think it is an okay choice to require HTTPS. Something that people don't like to mention about cybersecurity is that sometimes, you need to choose which letters of the CIA Triad you care about.
HTTPS increases confidentiality and integrity, but reduces availability (because it depends on complicated certificate infrastructure).
HTTP eliminates confidentiality and verifiable integrity, but possibly increases availability by removing the certificate dependency.
