Today, I mailed out the first postcards for #FirstClassFiction. Over the course of a year, I'll be sending out 25 postcards, each with a unique story or poem. Each postcard is individually numbered, and has a serialized sticker.

Some writers for these stories/poems will include @atgonzalez, @amin, @asakiyume, and @superball. The first postcard has a poem by @NylaWoethief

I created a Medic Class as an add-on for #MeteorRPG by @AwkwardTurtle

The Medic class includes new starting equipment, skills, and procedures for providing emergency medical care to characters.

I need to add more download formats and content over time.

Medic Class for Meteor TTRPG by Seth Patterson

Adding rules for a medic class to the Meteor TTRPG

Are there any existing short stories or novels related to #Cairn or adjacent #TTRPG systems?
I am working on a story that is intended to have a similar feel to the Roots in Vald to help establish a sense of place for Cairn. It's supposed to be in a country next to Vald.
What would you look for in a story companion for Cairn?
I am adding stat blocks for NPCs in an appendix.

@inventaire or @bookbrainz are you aware of a search engine for #books you own? If glossaries and tables of contents were entered for your books, it could tell you which book on your shelf covers a topic.
Full-text search of eBooks could also be mixed in.

Does including references to other public domain or #FreeCulture stories ruin immersion (break the fourth wall) or create a free, cohesive "cinematic universe"?

For example, would mentioning Sintel or Jenny Everywhere as real people pull you out of a story?
@alxd
Thank y'all for kind responses. It reflects well on your movement that you can politely engage with someone with differing beliefs.
@alxd
I wouldn't want to hijack the solarpunk movement, but rather work together on the goals we agree on.
@alxd
If a sister movement existed, I would tentatively call it #ApproCon or #ApproConservatism. Appropriate/low technology, combined with conservatism and conservationism.
Traditionalist conservatives (as opposed to libertarian conservatives or big-business conservatives) are positioned to reclaim stewardship of nature as a big part of our identity because taking care of the garden is one of the first things God told humanity to do (see Genesis 1 and 2).
@alxd is there room for traditionalist conservatives within #solarpunk or would they need an overlapping sister movement?
Conservatives can get behind lots of the movement, like sustainable energy, ending surveillance capitalism, free/open software and hardware, and conserving nature.
They can't agree some parts, like anti-capitalism (assuming by capitalism, the movement means being allowed to own means of production).
I wonder if anyone has made/will make a #gemini protocol source code forge. Imagine README.gmi as a project's main file.
