By the way, I’m in #Texas, which is not hospitable to the non-religious, women, anyone not white or rich, not straight or male. I stay to smash the #patriarchy as much as I can. I’m inspired by @0liviajulianna . The young people have got this.

I have buried friends and coworkers due to #covid or #LongCovid. I don’t want to be one of the stats. Those who tell me #covid isn’t real or long Covid is actually due to taking the vaccine, please don’t talk to me. I’m tired of arguing with people who don’t care if I live or die.

Friends who have had #covid tell me there’s nothing to be afraid of, because their case was mild. Then they complain they’re still tired all the time or have heart palpitations or don’t have the same breathing capacity as they used to… but don’t be afraid, immune compromised person. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@TimWardCam they are trying to get me to come in two days a week. I told them if they give me an office where I can take my mask off occasionally I might consider it otherwise I need to continue to work from home. Telling me that wouldn’t be fair to everyone else tells me they have no idea what reasonable accommodation means.

@Ingurido I even have a note from my doctor for reasonable accommodation but you’d think I’d asked for something crazy that no one else had ever asked for. I’ll keep stirring the pot, though.

It’s exhausting being immune deficient after everyone else has moved on from #Covid.
“Why aren’t you going to the Christmas party?”
“Why don’t you want to come back to the office?” (To an open cubicle with 50 others, none masked and quite a few unvaccinated people)

I’m just so tired.
