My pronouns are it/its, and skull/skulls. You can use either :)

I'm a trans, nonbinary, aroace autistic werewolf who likes taking pictures of plants, mushrooms, and any animals that will hold still long enough.

Newest collected cane / native bamboo plant! I got the rhizome cutting on August 10th, and was finally able to put it in a container yesterday on the 22nd. It's spent the intervening time in a plastic shopping bag with damp paper towels. It seems to have enjoyed it: it's got very vigorously growing new shoots!

The plant it came from was found on the side of a road next to a cow farm, completely submerged in water.

Can you spot the #invasive showy rattlebox?

Originally brought to North America for nitrogen fixing and because the flowers are pretty.

here's another #snake picture, a banded watersnake we saw in April 2022, hanging out in a tree above the lake (which was drying up due to a damaged wall)

#Snake !!! I had to hastily take the camera card out of my computer and put it back in the camera before this got too far away lol

Edit: My guess was correct :) A Southern Black Racer (Coluber constrictor ssp. priapus)
