Enroute to Austin, TX (again). Work calls, will be down here for a week and a half this time.
My Flex-8400 arrived back at my house yesterday and is back on the air. Now I have a bit of ground to make up in the DX Marathon. Total countries worked in 2026 so far: 0
With a bit of luck, my Flex radio should be back from repair tomorrow. Will be nice to get back on the air.
I was laid off in October after 13 years at Amazon and am still seeking a new opportunity. Please ping me if you know of a full-time remote role working on network and/or infrastructure security (on-prem and cloud-based). I also have experience with embedded/OT/IoT network security and wireless security. After hours I run a small network (AS46577) and fiddle with microcontrollers, embedded Linux, ham radio, and drones. Boosts appreciated.
#infosecjobs #getfedihired #jobhunt #jobsearchEnroute from Boston to Santa Clara, CA. Nothing like a last minute trip. Was asked to travel here last Wednesday. For a late booking, I really don’t do too bad with airfare, hotel, and car. Glad to know it’s just a short 5-day trip.
Hanging out on 80m paid off! ATNO worked, 5J0EA (San Andreas & Providencia). Sweet!
I started down a journey last night that has me both pulling my hair out and feeling super excited.
I’m going through my game CD/DVD collection and trying to get them up and running. Current challenge is that too many of my machines are “too new”. And running in compatability mode isn’t working. Time to dig out some older hardware and see what runs what!
On the road again. Back to HQ in Austin, TX. Looking forward to some solid meetings with my team and some strategic partners.
Back from business travel for a couple weeks. So much stuff to work on at home, never mind all the ‘new’ work I got from the trip to HQ. We have 30 hours now, right???
More business travel. I’m still exhausted from the last trip a week and a half ago. Missing Ham Expo this weekend, but missing seeing some friends even more.
