once again pissed off at censoring / sanitising language in subtitles. it's infantilising. I use subtitles all the time because of tinnitus and auditory processing issues, and I'll be damned if I want a bunch of handwringing prudish cunts fucking about with the language. censor ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in accessibility tools. I promise we're grown up enough to handle some swears and sex words, for shit's sake.
Stories like this aren't worth reading...not yet anyway. Google's Find My Device system hasn't had time to be improved. Apple released Airtags and used the popularity of their products to make it more useful, by hacking every iPhone, iPad, MacBook, etc, to share location info with Apple and to be scanning for Airtags via Bluetooth without everyone's knowledge. Google didn't do that. You have to choose to use this service. So it's too early to declare a winner.

Today's dinosaur-reminiscent bird is the crested caracara, a pair of which I saw in western Mexico a couple days ago. They look like hawks but they're actually hefty falcons that mostly eat carrion. This one, perhaps perturbed by my arrival, is making its rattling call. #birds #birding #Mexico #NaturePhotography #Photography
