Watching Twitter go up in flames is making me sadder than I thought it would. I made friends there. I became part of a community there. I became a published author there. Once it explodes, I'll lose touch with so many people. I'm not sure I can rebuild what I had there or ever regain the reach it once gave me. I'll try, but tonight...I'm just sad.

Gonna take a page (pun intended) out of the game dev handbook and start releasing unfinished, unedited books as "alpha" and "beta" for readers to purchase so they can give me feedback/plot fixes (and money) that might make it into the story if/when I get around to it.

Siobhan reappeared as if on cue, pale face wiped clean of makeup and red hair tied in a loose braid down one shoulder. It was the most casual I'd ever seen her, and somehow made her seem all the more unapproachable. Like the warning rattle of a snake that said, "You're in my territory, invading my comfort zone, and I won't let you forget it".
