The Incas built a sophisticated economy where poverty didn't exist. The tribute tax system required a community to give their labor to a state project, not pay in gold. Also, wealth was measured by how big your family was, since a bigger family worked more.

The system was so advanced there were protections for the workers, elderly, diasabled, sick, and "poor" (those with smaller families). And, through it all, Incas had no money, no homelessness, nor hunger☀️🗻
