I just finished How to Write Funny: Your Serious Step-By-Step Blueprint for Creating Incredibly, Irresistibly, Successfully Hilarious Writing by Scott Dikkers (founding editor of The Onion)

With a title this long, it’s funny that the book is so small - 143 pages including pictures. It’s not mind-blowing but it gave me lots to think about.

I just finished reading The Lesser Key of Solomon, translated by Aleister Crowley and SL MacGregor Mathers

A very interesting volume on demons and conjuration. I don’t plan on practicing the rituals but really enjoyed learning about them.

I just finished Worse Than Slavery: Parchman Farm and the Ordeal of Jim Crow Justice by David M. Oshinsky

This beautifully-written book contains horrors. I’m very glad I read it. It is from the 90s so it isn’t super up to date but the history is vividly told
