Heading home after two days at #egx2023. Played some cool indie games and finally got to do some Billie Bust Up. So looking forward to that game when it's out. Got some retro gaming in, love the arcade area. No pinballs this year which was a shame.
Lacking a lot of the pc components companies like Corsair and MSI from previous events. Sad to see it in the state it's in. It was pretty muched rezzed with some rando bits tacked on. Sega and atlus saved the day for the bigger gaming titles.
After getting tickets as postal ones never showed, we made it to #egx in London. Still fairly small compared to previous years. The indie and retro scene is my only reasons for attending now.
Had a go on the Pico vr headset. Really impressive. Priced in-between quest 2 and quest 3 but similar in features to quest 2. Somehow managed to get a high score on a rhythm game with my old Knackered body.
Hey adventurers!
Ever wondered what's inside #TheGamersTavern ?
Mostly fun, games, nerdy things, but also music.

We have cats, lots of them, cookies (the good ones) and fun. We love all and serve all
I set myself a stupid task of styling a modern keyboard around the old acorn BBC microcomputer from the 80s. Thinking I'd be able to just buy some keycaps and mash it together. Proved more difficult than I thought and with a limited budget I've gotten as close as I can. I'm happy with it.
I ended up using DIY keycaps to try and get the colourings as close as possible. I'm sure when they processed my order they were thinking I was a little crazy.
