After getting tickets as postal ones never showed, we made it to #egx in London. Still fairly small compared to previous years. The indie and retro scene is my only reasons for attending now.
Had a go on the Pico vr headset. Really impressive. Priced in-between quest 2 and quest 3 but similar in features to quest 2. Somehow managed to get a high score on a rhythm game with my old Knackered body.
I set myself a stupid task of styling a modern keyboard around the old acorn BBC microcomputer from the 80s. Thinking I'd be able to just buy some keycaps and mash it together. Proved more difficult than I thought and with a limited budget I've gotten as close as I can. I'm happy with it.
I ended up using DIY keycaps to try and get the colourings as close as possible. I'm sure when they processed my order they were thinking I was a little crazy.
The newly purchased SNES carts work fine. Bit of a bomberman afternoon. Not used my original hardware for a while so always a nail biting moment turning it on.
SNES output is scart into my nifty OSSC box and then hdmi. Best output I can get without a beefy CRT. Would love to have a crt again .
My new Enya Ukulele restrung with living water strings with low g. Thank you to @Vinjii and @molecat for contributing to my Ukulele addiction, in aid of me making it to 40.
Second uke is my main daily driver from Flight. A southern Ukulele Store edition. Restrung with Worth strings. Had to buy new pegs as I kept pinging them off. No one tells you how terrifying restringing the A string is on a Ukulele.
I need to stop buying Ukuleles. Is there a help group?
