And we're back. I'm going to call that a successful weekend: the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain was a blast; and I had a great time without completely wrecking myself. Had to pace things out and call it a night early, but managed to keep just enough energy in reserve that I could largely function.
The people of Cheltenham appeared baffled by the presence of hundreds of people wandering around their town carrying tiny instrument cases.
Rumour has it that the festival may return in two years, which strikes me as a sensible timetable. Next time I'm hoping to have recovered and have a bit more juice in the tank. And have practised more…
