Evening, friends! I’ve completely and utterly lost my temper with the gnome mandala yarn, so I went out and bought basically the same thing from Caron instead. I’ll make the lion brand one I’ve already completed into a matching cushion or something. Anyway, here’s 15 minutes of progress with the new yarn, while Mr Monday and I are watching Pyramids of Mars. Him for the first time, me for the second.

Hi, everyone! Back at the #crochet today, after taking a lengthy break due to some health issues. Beginning the Gnome Mandala colourway today, though I’m a bit concerned about this ball of yarn. There seems to be a colour issue, and it’s missing a colour. Wherever there should be yellow there’s just this muddy purple. I pulled out the very middle of the ball to get to the green instead so we’ll see if we can salvage it. Usually I do end up with a bit left over.

Spent a couple of hours digging up flowers that I accidentally let run rampant on my island. Finally finished, the place looks a lot more tolerable now! (Apart from all the holes, that is)
Trying to build a winter wonderland situation, I’ve never bothered with an aesthetic island before now. I’m not very good at it yet. I should really watch some videos on it or something. #acnh

Good morning everyone! Finally finished the Chimera mandala. Three days late, but that’s okay. It’s just for me, and I’m used to my poor craft-time management. I have a meeting in a couple of hours, but I should be able to start on the gnome colourway before then.

I was all cosy in my armchair, happily hooking away and then Some Events Occurred. Looks like I’m an Open Air Hooker for the rest of the day. Could be worse, I do love Mt Lofty Botanics during the autumn.

Good morning, everyone! Worked on the Chimera colourway yesterday, and then I’ll do another Gnome one after this. I’m making two blankets simultaneously, because that’s how it kinda worked out 🤣 My partner is pleased though, because he likes the idea of us having matching blankets. Here’s where we’re starting at for today! Please forgive the action shot—I’m all cosy under my blanket and can’t be bothered getting up 😅

Good morning! I finished the test square last night, with practically no curling! Success, indeed! I’m trying to convince myself to be happy with this and just use these hooks, but I’m convinced that I might be able to get away with a 2.75mm start rather than the 3mm I did here. Maybe. Haven’t blocked it yet, mind you.
