Are there are good #music Instances which would be suitable for my 13 year old daughter? She has self taught herself some #guitar #ukulele and #keyboard / #electricpiano and has written a few songs.

@meganpaasch another thing I like about Tootdon is that if you like someone's toot, you can tap the three dots and see what the local feed for that instance looks like.

The best thing about Mastodon right now is the incredibly indie slant to the creators who've migrated here. Queer folks, folks of color, and women creating and telling their own stories in a space unencumbered by industry gatekeeping sentiments? This is great.

it's amazing how people can just be nice and enjoy being around each other when there are no social pressures on a platform to cause distrust. i'm trying to spread that around by helping people new to the instance/platform, by explaining things to them or answering questions. i'll do what i can when i can! also i usually follow back!
