#askatp Can you recommend a Mac and/or iOS app for playing albums that I own? Think ripped CDs, DRM-free iTunes purchases, Bandcamp MP3s, etc.

I use Apple Music for streaming, but I *hate* its matching service, which constantly replaces my uploaded music with tracks that are *similar*, but not quite the same. And from what I've seen, there's no way to opt out of matching when you use the Apple Music service.

Pretty incredible seeing the lights here in the middle of Seattle.

#MyFirstMac was a 2004 iBook G4. It replaced a super cheap Toshiba laptop that had fallen down a flight of stairs at my university. Almost twenty years later, it's still ticking!

Oh, and it kickstarted my entire career and changed my life in a very real way, so there's that.

Sadly I don't have any pics of it on me, so we'll have to settle for a nice marketing picture.

The design is very human

This image, which is being shared as an example of “iPhone photo processing going crazy”, is almost 100% certain to be a fake and not an iPhone camera glitch.

Exposure merging happens, but on a timescale that is far shorter than one that allows pose changes as seen here.

Finally got one of them BlueSky invites, so I guess I have an account there too!

I think the Surface Pro is iconic; virtually everywhere you see somebody online using a not-iPad tablet in a professional setting, it's a Surface. From newsrooms to workshops. You'd probably be hard pressed to name another contemporary, quality tablet brand off the top of your head beyond Surface and Galaxy Tab

Miyazaki will never retire because art is a terminal illness. You do it till the day you die and you always leave something unfinished. It never ends.
