Cymraeg for Lightning, the name. The simple thought that the Infosec community is important brought me here to contribute anonymously (except to moderators) my thoughts as the interruptions they are to me and, I expect, to you.

There is a formidable distance between Derrida and Wittgenstein. Locating for perspective at Wittgenstein is both expensive and in a paradox of measurable achievement unless one begins in youth, which I may have; were the questions that occupied me still living in memory. They aren't.

Peter Hacker, whom I assumed anarchist of the kind that get honoured by committee under the Crown, does present the Wittgenstein I prefer. Indeed the one I couldn't be sure of whilst disagreeing with Donald Davidson so far could go at the logic conflated with terminology wound from common terms.

So I was quite stunned by a polemic outside of philosophy that may also be a poor interview *if* the book was supposed to be explored.
I've always been opposed to the BDS position, I think it assisted Netanyahu. He, as ever he does advertise his wishes, created the moment, the means, of Hamas.

He does not clock that people are seeing what Israel does, and Ukraine doesn't. I've no doubt whatsoever identifying as/identified as Jewish brings concrete and mirage experience of hostility, victimisation and problems. As much from Christians as Islamists and their mutual apologists. Worsened by recent events.

That began in Hereford, UK in the medieval period. A Bishop decided his way out of debt - tribute to the monarch or an expedient political advantage in distracting the Crown powers? - was to have the creditors killed. This trended across Europe and revived all the way into the C20th.
Those interested may find learning of Ataturk and his somewhat personal reasoning, borne in mysticism allegedly (a Qabbala penchant), toward the founding of modern Israel.

De Gaulle.

The Bosnian Herzegovinians that were abandoned on a premise that was not found true for many that escaped to North African states. And the creation of Osama Bin Laden with dreams of a greater Ottoman empire and some type fulfilling tactics.

I'm saying that, by this point, the advantage is with China as is plain to see. The work was done by the Intelligence community proceeding from the Great Game (the Moorcock works that demand acclimatization within the era) and that a One State solution is my preference with extremists displaced, Netanyahu recorded as the most dangerous war criminal beyond the mythos of the Old Testament.
Indeed the heavy hints in the tale of the Exodus commend meeting rationality with outright attrition. Bibi becomes God, so can't be dissatisfied.

For certain I love The West. I only dislike the elevation of acquired opinion which has advantages the enemies, and may be attributed to the designs of advertising which have doubtless made engagement of politics a moral hazard rather than meeting of moral needs. Commercial ethics.

That's my piece.

There are a lot of reasons for the downfall of the #USA but a big one is the purchase of traditional #media by plutocrat goons

Look at this fucking shit:

EDIT: some people are angry that i am potentially misleading because this isn't a recent headline. i am trying to make a point about the decay of traditional media and our current state of things. but yes, this is is from 2014, after #bezos bought WaPo. my point still stands, and you should follow my account for commentary, not breaking news

During thunderstorms, electric discharges in the air cause trees to glow with an ultraviolet aura. You can't see it with your eyes, but researchers have finally managed to measure it & recreate it in the lab.

🇩🇰🇺🇸 Clash Report: Danish MEP Anders Vistisen to Trump:

"Let me put this in words you might understand: Mr. President, fuck off."

We need to stop calling techlords like Mark Zuckerberg (and Tim Cook, et al) "cowards" for their nuzzling up to Trump.

Call them what they are: supporters of America's metastasizing fascism. And for god's sake, stop supporting their businesses.

Meta names former Trump adviser Dina Powell McCormick as president and vice chairman

Facebook owner Meta has named Dina Powell McCormick, a former Trump administration adviser and longtime finance executive, as president and vice chairman of the tech giant. The company says she will help guide its overall strategy, including major investments. The announcement on Monday received praise from Donald Trump, who called it a “great choice” by CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Powell McCormick has extensive experience in global finance and government roles. She worked in the Trump and Bush administrations and held leadership positions at Goldman Sachs. Her appointment arrives amid wider efforts from Meta to boost its ties with Trump.

We should build a "hall of shame" that exposes politicians, journalists, officials and institutions that are still using X. There must be a cost in loss of reputation and goodwill (and votes) for these people. The public deserves to know.

They underestimate the bad will this means. Sane normal people are not on X, so they operate with impunity, hidden away from the light of open democratic discourse.

Maybe something for a hackathon?

#LeaveX

@randahl @hadon What would matter more would be the European authorities to discard X, Meta & Co, and to start embracing much more wholeheartedly alternative platforms such as Mastodon and other related Fediverse-based platforms. We can't afford to remain dependent on American digital platforms any longer. European digital sovereignty is at stake.
