Bad ways to end a chapter – frustrated gibberish from keyboard pounding, breaking the fourth wall and swearing at your own characters for their lack of motivation, writing [put something interesting here] and forgetting to do it.
A lovely little day today. Attended a sign-language class, picked bub up from daycare, lots of cuddles, two no-cry naps, cooked, cleaned, working on my PhD now while he kips. It's not always this easy but my goodness it's nice when it is.
@skribe I haven't worn eyeshadow in years. His mum laughed and said "Meg, this is the most femme I've seen you in a while". She's not wrong!
Tonight my little cousin did my makeup. We talked about how all actors wear makeup, even if you can't tell. We talked about cosplay makeup, and then I showed him a photo of a drag queen and told him what contouring is.

@Denisemills That is such a kind thing to say - thank you, I appreciate you. I was a little worried when I was told about a pink/red colour scheme because I didn't want it to look too femme, but I think it came out looking very sleek!
