I think it's quite hard to organize that information in a somewhat logical manner, since these devices are so different. Even devices from the same manufacturer that were designed by different teams. Maybe we could create another repository just for documentation? I'm open for ideas.

@dervomsee I used to recommend RS Components, but it seems like it's out of stock there 😕
@Martinius Yeah, I played around with different resistor values during development. The resistor on the slide might actually be a different value from a previous revision. The problem is that the adapter doesn't work at 9600 baud if the resistance is too high, so I'm currently working a new design with an additional transistor.

I've now updated the driver to be compatible with the latest kernel version and added a notice to the README that points to the fork.
