@Giliell Ich bin in den 70ern aufgewachsen und bei uns war nur mein Vater berufstätig. Als Handwerker beim städtischen Bauhof. In der Schule gehörte meine Familie definitiv zu den ärmeren Familien.
Wir hatten immer ein Auto. Fleisch gabs mehrmals pro Woche, zum Abendessen immer Wurst und Käse (natürlich einlagig auf dem Brot). Sommerurlaub waren ein paar Tagesausflüge. Essen gehen alle 1-2 Monate.

Man muss bei so Betrachtungen von früher auch immer berücksichtigen, wann etwas normal war. 1950 gab es gerade mal 700.000 Autos in Deutschland. 1960 waren es 8,9 Mio, 1970 dann 15,1 Mio.

Ähnliches beim Telefon, Fernsehern usw.

@adorfer @33dBm Was ich meine ist: Laut Datenblatt gelten die 6m drinnen auf ein weißes Ziel (88% Reflexivität) mit einer Detektionswahrscheinlichkeit von 50%. Will man lieber 90% Wahrscheinlichkeit, auf ein dunkelgraues Ziel (17% Reflexivität), draußen bei Bewölkung (5kLux), dann sinkt die Reichweite auf 1,1m. Volles Sonnenlicht sind 120kLux, da wird die Reichweite nochmals deutlich runter gehen.

Autos sind prinzipiell schwer zu erkennen, solange man nicht die Reflektoren sehen kann (insb. das Nummernschild). Das muss auch kein Cabrio sein.

3) google the people mentioned in the trailer. Some people are working for the blender studios. Since when? If people are independent contractors (but of course also some others) they might even have a webpage with a list of their projects and expertise of work.

4) on youtube look how big the channels are that released the video. Count the number of hits on twitter/X or on blogs.

@moriasrace Some other ideas for comparison:
1) How long are the opening titles before the movie? This is the age of Tiktok. Whole videos are just 60 seconds long.

2) Do they address an international audience? Some of the other videos don't use language as part of the movie. How much understanding of the english language do the movies need? a) none b) a little c) a lot? Are the voices easy to understand?

3) How experienced were the makers? Were there specialists for e.g. sound effects or trained voice actors? How many movies have they made before?

4) How were the movies promoted? Were they uploaded to a huge youtube channel with lots of followers? Were they announced at the blender conference? Did people share the videos with their friends?
