So, I'm going back to WFH after next week & have also realized that I could maybe afford to buy an apartment in NYC & since I don't need to be in the office except for maybe once a month, I'm wondering what's keeping me here. It's certainly not friends. & my 2 youngest will move w/me. My entire goal in life has been to move to NYC, ever since I read Harriet The Spy as a wee girl.
I'm texting with my sister and a friend and neither of them has ever heard of Louis Theroux. I know I watch a lot of British TV but damn. He's got a bunch of stuff on Netflix. Open your minds, people, and watch a documentary once in a while. Sheesh.
I got tickets to see
#FrankTurner at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. This will be my 6th time seeing him live. I'm taking my super anxious 18 y/o & I'm really hoping he can handle it this time around. Last time we had to leave early because of his anxiety. I totally understood, but it was still a bummer.
I donated to the instance I'm on on here because whoever is running this server is working their arse off and I know it's not something I'd want to do. If you are on the same server as me, you can donate here.

Remember how you could create columns in Tweetdeck? Is there such a thing for Mastodon? I'd like to have a column for reporters I'd like to follow, but I don't want that to be in my main feed. I'd like to be able to hide the column if I'm feeling overwhelmed. My problem with Twitter became that I was following too many news sites so it was all I saw & it was too much.
